We are a group of citizens who believe in public access to government records. As citizens, each and every government record is actually OUR record, paid for through our taxes. We believe that the best government is an open government, and that our elected officials should support free and open access to information. We are here simply to share copies of public information from the City of League City, TX (and associated legal entities) that have been obtained through Texas Public Information Requests (PIR) and for which there may be public interest. This website is run by William Pate of League City, TX, but is a collaboration that includes other interested parties who may share their PIR results from time to time.
This website is not affiliated with the City of League City government; you may access official city information from their website https://www.leaguecitytx.gov/. This website is not political advertising; we are neither supporting or opposing any specific candidate for nomination or election to a public office or office of a political party, a political party, a public officer, or a measure. We are also not here to share public records that have not been obtained through a formal, public information request; this is not a website for leakers to share information. For any record to be published on this website, we will require proof that it was legally obtained through a PIR.
Do you have any feedback on the website? Is there a public record you would like to share (evidence of it being part of a formal PIR required)? Is there a record you think we should request from the City of League City? Send us an email at will.leaguecitytransparency@gmail.com . You can also follow us and reach out to us on our Facebook page.
